Beware of Email Scam and Phishing

I happened to receive an email, claiming to be from PayPal, and asking me to click the link provided with the mail.
And funny thing was that the from address was referring to “update@pypal.com“, can be confused with “update@paypal.com“.

Thanks for GMail. It marked the mail as Spam and also inserted a warning message in the mail body with red banner saying that “This message may not be from whom it claims to be. Beware of following any links in it or providing the sender with any personal information“.

So, to my non Gmail users: Here is one more reason to switch to GMail.
