Samsung announces Double-sided LCD

Samsung developed 2.2-inch double-sided liquid crystal display that shows different images on either side. The double-sided panels have been produced by attaching one panel to another. The double-sided panels will be used for slim mobile phone displays. The products with this LCD are expected to hit the market in the first half of the year. Samsung would unveil their new development at the 2007 International CES in Las Vegas January 8.
