PayPal, promoted by EBay is the number one payment option currently available for ecommerce transaction in the internet, be it international or national payments. Here are some other online payment services like PayPal.

Google Checkout
This is one of the convenient and fast mode of making online payment for ecommerce purchases. It is more or less similar to PayPal, but its still not yet accepted widely in many of the online shopping portals. Lets hope one day Google checkout will be par with PayPal.

Moneybrookers
Moneybrookers is another strong competitor as payment options available for online shopping. They also offer sending and receiving money across the globe with an email address, like in PayPal.

Obopay
Obopay is mainly a mobile centric online payment mechanism. It is not so widely available in different countries. Currently available only in US, India, Kenya and Senegal

Paymate
Paymate is similar to PayPal in providing reliable and secure online payments using email address. But, they don’t insist you to tie your account with bank account.
