Firefox 3 gaining edge over Internet Explorer
The famous web statistics provider statcounter has launched a global statistics section which highlights the global internet usage statistics on the basis of web browser, operating system, mobile web browser, mobile phones and search engines.
In light of the statistics analyzed for last 7 months statcounter global statistics team has concluded that the usage of Firefox 3 is getting steadily increased when compared with the internet explorer usage. This is a very good news for all Firefox fans as well as Mozilla foundation. Firefox is fighting hard against the IE, in spite of the strong competition from Safari, Opera and Google chrome. So those days are not so far, if Microsoft fails to keep IE users, for Firefox to dominate the web browser share.
