Sony is making the competition in smartphone market tougher with its premium flagship lineup in the XPERIA series, Sony XPERIA Z. The phone is just amazing!. Its specifications speak louder than other high end smartphones from Samsung, HTC, Nokia and Apple.

The Sony XPERIA Z has a 5.0 inches display of TFT capacitive touchscreen with shatter proof and scratch-resistant glass, and capable of depicting 16M colors.
It supports a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels essentially giving 441 ppi pixel density. And the display is well accelerated by home grown Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2. The touch digitizer can sense the multitouch of upto 10 fingers

Storage specification underscores its credibility being the flagship model. It comes with an internal storage capacity (ROM) of 16 GB, and 2 GB RAM. It allows an expandable microSD slot supporting 64GB

Camera is another remarkable entity in Sony XPERIA Z. It has a primary camera supporting autofocus and LED flash with 13.1 mega pixels, which can shoot pictures with a maximum resolution of 4128×3096 pixels,
It is capable of shooting true HD videos of 1080p@30fps, with video stabilization, HDR videos. Secondary camera comes with a 2.2 megapixel capable of capturing 1080p@30fps videos, which is pretty good for 3G video call and video chatting.

The smartphone runs on Android OS, v4.1.2 (Jelly Bean), but it is expected to receive an update of Android version 4.2 (Jelly Bean) soon.
