Nokia Introduces Four Phones for Midrange and Entry Level

Nokia this week introduced four phones — three midrange models and an entry-level phone. Here’s an overview:

Nokia 6290 smartphone: This S60 3rd Edition smartphone comes in a folding case and features 3G connectivity. Other features include Push e-mail, easy-to-use browser, 2.2-inch color screen, and multiformat music player.

Nokia 6300 imaging device: This Series 40 device is housed in a thin (13.1 mm) stainless-steel monoblock case. Features include a 2-megapixel camera; microSD card reader for storing up to 2 GB of music and images; and voice dialing, commands, and recording.

Nokia 6086 camera phone: This Series 40 device is housed in a folding case and includes a VGA camera, multiformat music player, Bluetooth connectivity, and compatibility with 802.11b/g wireless networks.

Nokia 2626 mobile phone: This Series 40 phone is aimed at style-conscious consumers in emerging markets. The device comes in several bold colors, including Fiery Red, Spatial Blue, and Energetic Copper. Other features include a one-touch FM radio, MP3 ring tones, e-mail client, and WAP 2.0 browser.
