How to remove Facebook ticker status updates

Facebook added new status update ticker in profile home to keep you informed about the activities being done by your friends in real time. Some people like it very much, but it is really irritating for some.

I have compiled two videos which could help you remove the the status ticker in Facebook. This is can be tried only if you use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox web browser.
